How many Harley Owners Here?

I have a 2004 Softail Fatboy that is getting ready to be torn down and rebuilt (again)....

I have to get my mod bug on some how so here is what is on tap...

Jesse James front rolling fender
Fat Katz 8.5 rear fender
60 spoke 18 5.5 rear wheel to run a 200mm Metzler
BFL flying V drag bars with 8 inch rise
Imola Orange Pearl Paint for the new tins
New four over fork legs for the front end...the new raked trees took it from 32 degrees to 35 degrees....made it just to low....

Here is a pic before the project begins.

why selling

i will take 16k for the bike now, selling because too many toys, too many kids, to many hobbies etc , etc; although i love the bike and it rides like a dream.

If you put it on ebay at that price for "buy it now" you will sell it in a heart beat.

I sold my '99 Fatboy back in April of last year - really miss it - awesome bike...

I was just thinking about it last night - Harley's, by far, are probably the most heavily modded vehicles there are. My friends and I often joke around about buying a beautiful, expensive, brand new Harley and then, often times before even picking it up, we throw away half the bike. New fenders, seat, blinkers, bars, chrome the front end, the swingarm, fat tire in the back, new covers here and there, blinkers, pegs, wheels, paint, bore the motor, etc.... Harley Davidson sure knows what it's doing and they're very good at it! It sure is fun though!

Your Fatboy looks great! Is it fuel injected? Mine wasn't, but I wished it was. They seem to run so much better than the carbureted models, and I really liked the idea of no choke. You mod list looks excellent! More pics when you're done!!!

That's why I decided to build one myself.

Ends up being less expensive than a Harley...
