Infiniti Laser Cruise Control setting off V1?

Have anyone ran into a problem with Infiniti's Laser Cruise Control setting off the V1's Laser detector? This has happened to me a few times whenever I'm in front of an FX or a QX. The V1 kept going and going until either I change lane or another car moves in between me and the Infiniti. And what the heck are people having their laser cruise control turned on when driving on city surface street???

Are we getting that "freken" lazy that we can't even keep your feet on the gas pedal?
