will when I get home.. we got paint chipping off the shell (replaced 2x under warranty already), back burner getting clogged all the time, and rusting on the bottom shell. they said it's a known issue with the Silvers.. WTF?? Ended up replacing with a 48" DCS... cooks much more evenly and easier to maintain.

TRex,
Congrats on the old nest sale and heading for your new crib. The empty nest deal is a very good situ, imo. Best of Luck to you and yours. BR,md

We have a new Alfresco nat gas grill sitting in the garage, waiting to be installed. We were told it was as good as Viking, but a bit less expensive. I can't say how well it cooks yet, but it is pretty!

SANguru - I was too much of a gentlemen to bring up the subject of lavender valve caps and how, at a certain East Meet, one mousy member of this board got a a whole super-sized STFU.
MiCkEy - Don't ever change (your diaper). On grills: WHOA! $2k for a stripped down Viking? DANG!. BTW, the old Weber is going into its 12th year and still works and I've had no problems with it. I don't think it has the BTU juevos, however, because I can't really get a steak crispy on the outside (I like 'em Pittsburgh Rare).

gas grill!?!? Real Men play with charcoal, lighter fluid, and matches. Who needs eyebrows? The flavor of a charcoal or mesquite grill cooked steak is wa-a-a-y better than gas. So what if cleanup turns you into a chimney sweeper, that your wife won't let you in her clean house, BUT she will be glad to hose you down. A charcoal grill is a rite of passage handed down from father to son. It's TRADITION! Besides, who needs a bomb in the backyard? Have we become that lazy? Enough of this foolish talk of gas grills!
Pittsburgh rare - make sure the briquettes are level just below the grill rack's lowest position, wait until they have turned white, throw the steak on, count to 40, flip it over (careful of the grease flames), and count to 45 - adjust numbers based on thickness and how rare you like it - use aluminum foil under charcoal to help reflect heat and cleanup. Wa-a-a-y better than gas.
