Anybody Got a Mini?
Need info regarding what to install to play an iPod. I know the ice-link is an option. Are there any others and what is the approx cost for installation?

OK and it was connected to what, and where, what part from where and the BMW order number for the part was ???

ours was just a bmw jack we got from brecht bmw/mini, it does connect through the steering wheel controls

OK Check this out. I don't own a Mini so I'm trying to extract some information regarding the installation for someone else so let me be a bit more specific.
#1 This jack is connected to what? #2 Is it connected behind the radio? Or where? #3 Is it called a BMW jack or is there a correct name. #4 What is the BMW Part Number for this (Jack) #4 What did it cost to get it installed #5 You mean it operates with the steering wheel controls correct? Quote:

Yes I think it is connected behind the radio and they run the adapter (not sure on the part number )through the glove box...where you connect your ipod. Cost is 149 bucks plus installation. I did it around a year or so ago and works great. You can make up to 5 playlists or just scroll through your entire collection all from your steering wheel, which is nice. Downfall though is not being able to get to a specfic song through. Unless its in a playlist it will take you a while to scroll through to say song 1563!...
