Vegas trip

I'm a little late with this since I got back on Sunday afternoon but here's the rundown of last weekend.

The wife and I came across a couple of free ($700 worth) tickets to the De La Hoya fight at the MGM. The wife had not been to Vegas for a long time and I have never been there without the boys nevermind with a wife. It would be interesting. I'll just get this out of the way. The place is overflowing with fine looking women. You couldn't spit without hitting a woman you'd hit.

Neither one of us gamble so we walked around and checked out hotels and shopped. I wanted to buy one of those college teens the guys on the street were advertising but the wife said no. We rode the rollercoaster at New York New York and enjoyed it. It's not bad for a short ride. It's pretty cool doing it right on The Strip. The fight was awesome. I don't know if you saw it on HBO but all six rounds were good. De La Hoya beat Mayorga up pretty good. The crowd was almost all Oscar fans. The place went nuts. The energy and the noise was incredible. HBO would be a better view but you lose the energy of the live event.

Here are some pics with commentary.

The view from the fake Eiffel Tower at Paris. 460 feet up. $9 per adult to ride up.

We paid the $20 to "tour" the Penske Ferrari dealership at the Wynn Hotel, which is an awesome hotel. The cars in the showroom were very nice but most of them were pre-owned models. There was an Enzo that was not split in two. :p They did not allow pictures. Bastards! There was another 25 cars downstairs in a more secluded showroom. Most were also pre-owned including an Aston Martin Vanquish that used to belong to Alec Baldwin. He had bought it there when the dealership first opened, then traded it in for an F430. It had the ugliest wheels on it that made it look lifted and ready for offroad action. Sad. Mrs. Wynn had her beautiful F430 Spyder there in a color I can only describe as a more silverish version of Estoril Blue. It was very good looking albeit not something I would want for my F430. There was also a real AC Cobra. Nice....

So they told me no photos but I did somehow get these on my SD card. It's the service area and notice how spotless it is. That is a Penske trademark. He is very demanding and doesn't even allow personal photos to be displayed in employee offices. His Lexus dealership in Scottsdale is just as perfect. Check out the Maserati with the front end out. What the heck necessitated that???

Here is one of the lions from the MGM's lion exhibit. This is one of two and she's playing with a ball like a giant house cat. Later, she ate the guy in the second photo.

One pic from the fight:

Finally, the one picture of a female I was allowed to take. This chick was walking down the street continually pulling down her shirt and pulling up her pants. JUST SAY NO TO CRACK! I had to sneak this pic for fear that her Jesse James wannabe boyfriend didn't try to kick my ass. I say try because I would've run. :p The plumber butt was actuall worse up close and this pic was right after she hiked up the trousers. We thought that she had to know that those pants fit that way but bought them and wears them anyways. Not too flattering if you ask me but she did have a great set of hooters.

I hope you enjoyed the pics.
