http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/a...EWS99/60517015 News bulletin FBI digs for Hoffa’s body May 17, 2006 The FBI has reportedly cordoned off an 85-acre parcel near Maple and Buno roads in Milford Twp. where WDIV (Channel 4) says officials are surveying the area in connection with the case of missing ex-Teamsters’ union president James R. Hoffa. The television station reported on its 5 p.m. newscast that Hoffa’s daughter, Barbara Crancer, a judge in St. Louis, told them she was alerted by the FBI today that new information had come in. The television station reported that it appeared as if the FBI was planning to dig in the area at sunlight tomorrow. The FBI was not available for comment on the report. Hoffa vanished from the parking lot of a Bloomfield Township restaurant on July 30, 1975.
