I'm not justifying her price tag at all, just putting it in a larger scope. The justifications I heard flying around in the media were that because she is 38 and has a child she will get a large sum of money. Not sure why....wouldn't 5 million be enough for her to lead a pretty good life without ever having a job in the future.

I could understand if they had been married for 25yrs and she had input in his work or was there in the tough times before he made money but 4yrs $300m give me a break, like she didnt plan that!!! what a joke. still who cares anyway really...

Well it looks like she might get 100miliion GBP. at a push. Most of Paul's money was made before she came into the marriage and the term of the marraige has not been long. This is what the lawyers are saying in the papers today anyway.

To be honest, I think the divorce laws are completely sexist. They are veyr pro-female. I have nothing against women, but I do have something against unfair rules.

Why should the woman basically receive automatically half of everything the guy had if there's no prenap (or however you spell it)?

How about it goes both ways? How about the man also receives half of everything that's hers?

These laws are the same here in Canada like in the US, and it makes me sick.
