listen to this story! Crazy driver.

Im driving home on the highway around midnight a couple of nights ago. There is barely anyone on the road. Im doing between 80 or 90 mph. So way up ahead i see a car in the right lane. Mind you that im in the right lane the entire time. So as i get closer i could tell this guy is going pretty slow in the right lane. Prabably like 60mph. He is not moving or driving abnormally at all .except for the fact that he is barely doing the speed limit. So as im getting closer i could tell its a early 90s camry. well anyway just when im about 4 or 5 carlengths from passing this guy.
im in the left lane hes in the right lane. He swerves violently into my lane and slams on his brakes. Actually locking up all 4 of his tires and smoking the shit out of them. So i slam on my brakes and was able to slow faster than he did and actually never got close enough to him to hit him. So i switched lanes and got into the right lane and floored it. When i got side by side with him he swerved at me again. But by the time he got close i had already passed him. So then i get up to like 80 or 90 again and i noticed he was catching up to me. Like he was chasing me. So i floored it got it up to 130mph and got off the first exit and lost him.
Now can anybody here explain exactly what happened to me. Because i still cant figure it out. I am absolutely mindboggled by this guys actions. Thank God I was driving a BMW. Not amny other cars out there would have had the braking power stability acceleration and top speed to avoid a very serious if not deadly problem. there are some crazy people on our roads. This guy belonged in a mental institution

There's no explaining that kind of crap. Sometimes it's just someone who doesn't like that you are going faster than them. "Oh no you ain't gonna pass me!"

I have a couple of similar stories:

I was behind a Dodge Ram dualie with a full load of furniture in the bed going slowly on some backroads. I went to pass him on the left, over a broken yellow line. (I was in my Boxster.) When I got next to him he floored it. That put me in real jeopardy even though there were no oncoming cars coming. I was able to complete the pass but not before I hit some high speeds. A nice CHP officer happened to see the tail end of it and we had a chat about it.

The other day I was in my work Taurus and passed a lady in an E class. I was going maybe 50. As I passed her she honked. I didn't react at all because I didn't think it was directed at me. She later tried like hell to catch up to me after the next light she got caught at. When she passed me she shot her arm out the window and gave me the finger. I'm embarrassed to say that she got a mouthful from me when I caught up with her.

Oh there are plenty of sick people out there. You gotta look out at all times. Yesterday I was driving the ML on the highway, and basically I was coming down from the 400 onto the 401.

The 400 is a 3-lane north-south highway. It's the main one in the area. The 401 is 6-lane east-west highway, that goes from Detroit, through Toronto, to Montreal.

Anyway, there's an offramp from the 400 to the 401, and it's 2 lanes side by side. I'm in the left, and further down they're doing contruction so the right lane of the offramp if merging into the left.

We're doing about 40km/h because of lovely traffic and volume. As I near the merging point where all "last minute" people merge, I see the Pontiac Aztek beside me suddenly floor it to try to merge in front of me. I had already let this Civic merge in front, and it's physically impossible for the Aztek to actually fit between me and the pylons in front. I hit my brakes, and slam on my horn.

The guy in the Aztek then puts down his window and said something along the lines of "Oh that's right, YOU go ahead! Asshole!".

LOL I'm just laughing to this, cuz he's clearly wacko. Anyway, I let him go in front, cuz I don't want that wacko to rear end me as a thank you.

We need traffic laws like they have in Germany where you don't f--k around when you are behind the wheel.

He was prob a crack head.....some people feel like you should not pass them...they take it as an insult that you feel that they are driving to slow. Yet another element of our "it's all about me" society.

I disagree. I am rude in life, but very polite on the road.
