Software Developer & Technology Architect

AnchorFree is looking for a senior software engineer (architect level) to lead a multi-functional product development team focused at developing technology for geo/behavioral targeting of information/content/ads over ISP/Wi-Fi networks. This person will be responsible for high-level design and development of software for leading edge Internet products. AnchorFree is looking for a candidate with passion for Internet technology and vast experience with Internet software development and technology innovation.



Qualifications:

Experience with architecting Internet technology

Proficient with C++,

Experience with PHP and web technology development

Experience with Linux, embedded devices

Experience working as team lead.

Knowledge of search technology, data mining, and natural languages

Excellent communication skills with ability to work across multiple functional groups.



Preferences:

MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent.

Prior experience architecting revolutionary technology

Direct experience with search algorithms

Prior work with AI applications

Entrepreneur that launched businesses and technology in the past

Well, I've been out of that business for a while now. If you buddy can afford to sponsor paper he should have no problem finding a right person.

Is there a business model making profits via free Wi-Fi? Interesting...

Yes, for the company that puts it in and maintains it. The telcos are just providing the "service" and outsourcing the rest, even the tower construction (a buddy of mine is working with Verizon here on the east coast in the same arena)
