What's ur price point? what's your riding experience like? ZX10RR is a freakin beast but IMO earlier models were twitchy as hell with undersized brakes. Also reliability was pretty spotty as per my friends who owned them and ride with me. The new 636 (ZX6-R) is IMO a much better bike than the ZX6RR. Think torquier. Also the new ZX10RR is a significant improvement over the old ones also. Bear in mind thought, riding a liter bike is very different from riding a 600.

I am looking to spend somewhere between $5000 to $7000. I would prefer ZX-10R. I did ride 500 CC bikes but almost 7 years ago and that too touring ones. But i am pretty confident that i would be able to handle these sport fast beasts too. If you have any of your friend with a nicer deal for a Ninja ZX-10R, please do let me know. I do want to tame the beast.

for that price range, it's going to be difficult to find a liter bike. Is there a reason why you're set on the kawi's? for about mid 7's you might be able to find a GSXR1000 which imo is a much better bike.

never hear much good about kawi's besides their sleek style. anyone got an opinion on Honda cbr's? i was considering purchasing a bike also...my ride experience is next to none. but i am 240...6'3 which people tell me i could use a bigger bike.

buddy's got an 05 CBR1000RR. Awesome bike and very easy to ride with the Electronic steering dampener but if you riding experience is next to none, I suggest buy a beater first. You don't want to be dropping an 10K bike your first time out.

Hi Guys, got myself a Ninja-ZX-12R (1200 CC). I'm leaving for New York this weekend to pick it up. Hopefully the deal goes smoothly.
