Died from the compression blast, not the impact so you would survive...for a while. The compression from a 500lb bomb can do a lot of damage, basically turning your insides into gel. As soon as I saw the first pick I said compression killed him, you can tell by blood coming from the ears and nose, usually.

I saw the Time link and laughed: this stuff's been floating around for days. Every newspaper & periodical has their own "inside" version. Glad they got him, but the terrorists aren't going away.

Did you see now that the conspiracy theorists are saying he was not hurt by the bombs but was beaten to death by soldiers? Then we apparently dropped the bombs to carry through on the scenario!
 These people will stop at nothing to shine as negative light as possible on this war just to make this administration look bad. Their credibility is in the shitter the way it is & this just makes them more ridiculous!

I could care less if a boy scout troop beat him to death. What difference does it make how he died....that fucker got what was coming to him. I also love how some the terrorist sympathizers had the balls to say that the strike force came upon him by accident and that is why they smoked him vs capture. As we have all scene from the Sadaam trial why deal with the aggravation. I like the eliminate approach much better.
