Check out the alpine Blackbird. I've read some really good reviews on it.

I just got the Nuvi 350 and cant wait to put it in and test it out! Just so you know, Wal-mart.com has them really cheap right now. Has anyone installed it lower on the dash then used the external antennae? After getting lost in Jersey this weekend I figured it would be a sound investment.

Again, I guess I am preaching to the choir...I got my brother-in-law as a grad gift the Garmin Nuvi 350 and he loves it!! I got a chance to play with it and I can't believe they packed all these feature in a small package!
It also took his truck off-roading and almost got lost but the Nuvi 350 helped him navigate himself back to civilization!!

I just took the Nuvi 350 on a 5-hour road trip.. And I'm even more impressed! Going to New Jersey I'd been advised to take the Tappan Zee Bridge.. So I plugged in the New Jersey address and inserted I-287 in Nyack, NY as a waypoint.. It led me there on almost the exact route that I'd planned out using an atlas. If you diverge from the path it wants you to take, it recalculates within seconds.. It has a nice auto-zoom feature, so you can have it zoomed out a little farther to see what's coming up ahead...but it will zoom back in temporarily as you make a turn. It also has a great trip computer.. It tells you your GPS-measured current speed, distance traveled, distance to destination, overall average speed, average moving speed, max speed, total time, time moving, and time stopped.
My results: Total Mileage-359.01 Overall avg- 56.4 mph Moving avg- 66.2 mph Max speed- 102 mph Total time: 5:42 Moving time- 5:25 And the 330 averaged 27.2 mpg! I only used 3/4 of a tank.

Does anyone know where the best place to buy the Nuvi 350 or the Nuvi 360 is? I have been thinking about buying a portable GPS and the Nuvi sounds and looks like what I have been looking for. Any help on some good deals would be great. Thanks
