The incisions made for ab-etching are literally the size of dots. Dr. Chugay then takes a tubular instrument called a cannula and inserts it through these tiny incisions and strategically vacuums out the excess fat. The doctor explains that, 'it is common for surgeons to use the largest cannula possible in order to extract the most fat in the least amount of time.' Dr. Chugay prefers to use the smallest, thinnest cannula possible. Although this means more operative time for the surgeon, the end results are smoother and more precise. Ab-etching is done using the tumescent technique, which softens the fat and makes it easier to remove. An additional benefit is that the tumescent fluid prevents excess bleeding by clamping down the blood vessels. According to Dr.Chugay, 'a full abdominal etching procedure can be completed in approximately two hours with each incision requiring only a single stitch."

I'm no surgeon, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn once. Have you guys ever seen a liposuction surgery on tape? Any surgery is not to be taken lightly. These docs take this instrument and ram it all over the place. There is no finesse involved. Like a bull in a china shop breaking everything that it comes into contact with. The patient is left bruised and EXTREMELY sore for weeks after.
A friend of my wife's who was looking to trim excess leg fat, tried diet and exercise for years and could not get rid of it. She decided on lipo and after the surgery she could not even sit on the toilet for about a month. Her hubby had to help her. NO work NO independence for a month. If she had to do it over again she said definetly not if the surgeon was honest with her. Again I'm no surgeon, I'm not trying attacking anyone. But just saying any surgery - wisdom teeth, appendix, lipo, rhynoplasty, is a dangerous thing and not to be taken lightly. Anasthetic is a controlled poison and will kill if not done by a person who is awake and highly qualified. Keith |

No, sorry Doc, not a subtle pun. I had an anaesthetist as a patient and he told me stories about some colleague who fell asleep during an operation.
Not trying to step on your toes. Now that you mention it, It was a good pun. Thanks. |
