Any particular reason for the Dell brand? They are built by someone else and badged as Dells. I recently bought a 42" plasma and did a ton of research with a guy who builds home theaters. If you can get a killer price, you are not building an integrated theater, and you like the picture, than fine tuning your research is less important, because no matter what you buy it will be fairly obsolete in a few years anyway. I shopped price on www.nextag.com

good question on the Dell TVs. I'll be in the market soon for a 30+ inch LCD for the bedroom, but so far the Sonys/Panasonics at Costco are at the top of my list b/c of their return policy.
Seems the Dells are priced competitively, so hopefully someone has something to share.
