Well, since we picked up the X5 from Crevier, we might as well enjoy the weekend & escape the heat. We headed to San Diego & really tested out the auto tranny in stop 'n go traffic on I-5. We were in the mood for some good NY style pizza & got some @ Bronx Pizza off of Washington St. Yummy! Check out these guys www.bronxpizza.com

I'm @ a Lily Pulitzer store while the missus is trying out some very colorful summer dresses. Anyhow, there is another great NY style pizza place called Patsy Grimaldi's. It is orignally from Brooklyn (still there) & their main claim to fame is that they use a coal-oven. They also have one @ Hoboken, NJ & Scottsdale, AZ. The one @ old town Scottsdale is really great! SG doesn't like NY style pizza though....

They actually have a new one in Chandler about 1.5 miles from me. I love NY style pizza btw.

I live in L.A., but these two restaurants in the O.C. are my favorites for pizza:

Mamma Cozza's on Ball Rd. in Anaheim for New York style pizza:
http://www.mamacozza.com/

Tony's Little Italy for Chicago style and stuffed pizzas
1808 N Placentia Ave Ste B
Placentia, CA 92870
(714) 528-2159

Both restaurants have been around for decades. Can I get a witness?

LMAO at "Mama Cozza's". I used to work in Fullerton, and we used to go there maybe twice a month. They do have great food. Here's the funny part, every time we used to go there, I would break out in my best Mama Cozza impression. I would talk like an old Italian woman and say things like "How cumma you don't want to try Mama's calzone today? My friends would always be cracking up.

Mamma Cozza's is still cranking out the pizzas. I love neighborhood restaurants and this is one of my favorites.
