Warranty Question

OK I have a 2006 BMW X5 purchased a year ago end of July, It has 19051 miles on it and the driver's side sport seat stitching (on the adjustable thigh support) is coming undone, will this be covered under warranty?

Just wondering, when I got my X5 on Augst 14th last year, they didn't have any 2006 models in stock. How did you get 2006 model?

One more question, I have 15k mi. maintenance due, is it common to get a loaner for that case. They promised me I will get a loaner when the X is in the shop. How do I go about it?

You should get a loaner, but all bets are off on "BMW loaner". I know my dealer has a few but I haven't been able to ever get one. Chances are you may just be showed the door to Enterprise........

I think that loaner programs are entirely up to the individual dealer. BMWNA does not require that a dealer provide loaners. My dealer only provides loaners to customers who bought their BMW from them. They have a small number of BMW X3's as loaners and have used 3ers before too but if they're gone, I get a Taurus from a local rental joint.

I got the first one off the lot, my renewel letter says August as does the plates so It must have been purchased in Aug, As for the loaner program I always get a 2007 Camry because they have a huge fleet of them, I occasionally get an X3 but not as frequently as before.
