How do you like your...

Women?

Ken and I "discuss" this often, so wanted to get the opinion of the men on here... women feel free to toss in what you think as well...

Do you prefer your "mate, spouse, girlfriend", etc. with or without makeup?

The "au naturale" look... or her with a little something something to make her look/feel better...

Thoughts?

I think a woman should be able to do a little of both. The key is a little something, not that pasted plastic look. There are times to get done up and times to go au naturale. The key is to know the difference.

My 2 cents

A small amount of makeup usually looks good....just don't over-do it.

Personally as some might find this strange i prefer the woman in the morning look, if you like/love your girl in the morning without make up or anything then the make up only enhances the look and is not necessary. when going out its nice to see some make up only because there's a time and place for everything

See, I told you I'm not crazy. Sure, make-up looks nice when done right (and you know how to do it right), but it's the natural beauty I love But who am I kidding, I like to see you any time of the day, dressed in whatever it is you have on, with or without makeup

But some ladies need help to cover up flaws. Anything too much is bad to me, few exceptions ie stage performers, street walkers, etc.

When she was younger, my wife liked to compete (and win) in the various swimsuit competitions. I loved it when she would get up there and strut her stuff in a skimpy bikini or short skirt and be all made up to perfection.

Even though she was stunning then, I think she's even more beautiful now in a pair of jeans and t-shirt and no makeup when she's gardening or working with the horses or washing her car. She gives hot and sweaty a whole new meaning

In the past year or so, she's discovered another gift - singing - and it makes me swell with pride watching her on stage. She was a semi-finalist in the Colgate Country Challenge competition a couple weeks ago, performing in jeans, boots, a sexy white top and my old cowboy hat. She looked hotter than the fourth of July up there belting out her tunes under the lights and the fireworks in front of several thousand people. Confidence is a fine kind of makeup, don't you think?

Of course, I married her for her intelligence (I really did!).

Mike

I believe that a woman should get up half an hour earlier than the man so that she can put on her makeup and get her hair did so when her man wakes up, she looks good for him.

Okay, stop cursing at me. In all seriousness, I like just enough makeup to enhance the natural beauty beneath. As others have said, too much is bad. The thing that I notice is that many women don't feel confident or beautiful unless they have some makeup on. That lack of confidence and insecurity itself can present as unattractive. It's a vicious circle. Or is it a catch-22? A paradox? Conundrum? Enigma? Ah, yes, that is the way of the woman.
