B&DCalgary is on a distinguished road
Nobody in the rest of the world cares that he's American. Pro cyclists ride for their team, not their country.

It sounds pretty fishy though that he tested positive on only one stage (the one after he bonked). It's probably simply a case of his body reacting to the drain on his system from the previous stage. Jacking testosterone levels artificially on race day serves little purpose because testosterone isn't ergogenic, it's anabolic. Athletes use it during their training phases, not typically during competition.

Nobody but the french that is. As one annnouncer said this morning the French have it out for the Americans. Seems like they don't want anyone to win but them, but especially they don't like it when Americans win.

I was in Paris two years ago when Armstrong crossed the finish line and it was very interesting watching the French reaction. They did not want to cheer too loudly, yet they were in awe of Armstrong's accomplishments, and can't help but applaud him for what he's done. There was a large American presence at the finish line celebrating. It was a sight to see
