Amazing developments............
X5World, oh my word !!
As a lapsed 'lurker' and prior Premier member from 2005, I now have a little more leisure time and found my way back to X5World. Oh my word !! There is now a healthy X3 forum as well as forums for E70 and I did'nt even know E72 or F05 existed ! I see many regulars UCrew, OldMotorDavid (solid as a rock handing out advice), PNG, SuperGreg, the WWW is stronger than ever, Hayaku and his seriously 'hands on multimedia' CV boot replacement and forgive me for not mentioning many others who I recognise being still present and posting valuable info. CJ !! ! Yes, a 330xd would be an awesome car) I also see many new members. New members are the lifeblood on-line. My last hour of browsing shows major contributions from cmyX5go, lilbit, Michelle, blondboinsd (hey San Diego). A whole lotta new spunky women ; and also a whole lotta of new 'second owner' people with new and evolving concerns. Many others and I gotta make special note of the 'powerfully staged photos ops' thread Ok lurker about to sign out but my updates qre hopefully of interest : Scotty X5 is a Jan 2000 4.4 and has now hit 76k; recent milestones include final stage resistor replacement, drivers side outboard CV boot replacement, front brake pad change. I'm currently alert for climate system randomness and the occasional instances when I jump into the X5 and hear a 'hum' from what I believe is the rear air compessor. I've heard this noise before when in very cold temps. and when buried in snow; but I've now been hearing it in the recent SoCal heat wave. Lurker out, PC |
