I will give you that you are ranked higher this year than Miami, but as far as Coker inheriting a dynasty and suspending 4 key players for the FSU game, I think he is trying to encourage our team to straighten up and fly right. Besides this year Miami players aren't the one firing weapons first...only firing weapons in defense. I am from Miami and will always be and live by Miami rules. I come from a tough background, my grandfather used to punch out horses!

Notre Dame just hands out Chastity belts to their players and they drink Holy Water during halftime. Touchdown Jesus hasn't done anything for you in almost 20 years (1988)...Maybe you should ask Tom Cruise to help you win a championship this year. Scientology is in this season You guys will get picked off by Penn State and Michigan this year. 2 losses will not look good for you this year.

As far as numbers go how many first round draft picks from Miami in the past 15 years. More than any other team. Felons or not.
I stopped reading after you said "Miami Rules"

like gnarly dude... far out.

MIAMI is held to a higher standard unlike NOTRE DAME. So who is the loser?

At least I am not riding some pipe dream think Miami will dominate the BCS this year. I handicap my friend and I think I do it pretty well. I am a realist when it comes to the Canes' program. I bet you would never surface if Notre Dame wasn't ranked as high as they are.

Mark my words... Nice use of smilies BTW you obviously have way too much time on your hands!
You are clueless..... Miami is held to a higher standard? you have GOT to be joking!!!!!

do you even watch college football or are you just a rah rah 'cane jersey wearing gangsta' wannabe?

Here are some things to consider:

1) 'canes fans are fair weather, they haven't done jack in the last few years and the fans go into hiding. ND fans are there game in and game out, whether the team is ranked or not.

2) The program graduates something like 20% of the athletes. You might not care about that, but ND graduates over 90%, and despite the fact that ND gets more "scholar athletes" ie. their palyers actuall go to class, they're still a winning program who can hold their heads high with integrity.

3) ND will always be a "love 'em or hate 'em" team, just like the yankees, and 100 years from now they'll still be that way... and people will be saying "who are the hurricanes again?"

4)The most important lesson that 'canes athletes learn while "in college" (just typing that is making me laugh) is this: Duck and cover, duck and cover

i could go on for hours but i just got off a plane and i'm exhausted, so i'll continue "the lesson" when i'm more awake...

You must be mistaken my friend!

DO I even watch college football...? You have got to be kidding me. When was the last time ND did anything at all since you had Holiday at QB.

My friend I have been to almost every Canes game at the Orange Bowl since I was born, 28 years ago! Flew to Cali to see them whoop Nebraska in 01.

I witnessed the "Hail Flutie" and the Every Nationional Championship Game first hand.

I have lived through the Golden Years and stuck with the program through the 10 years of Probation.

That gives me the privilege to be Canes Jersey Wearing Gangsta. And I wear that Jersey very proudly through thick and thin.

As far as class goes and Student Education, yes we have had some real thugs down there and it has been embarrasssing at times how bad these players screw up and yes ND always keeps there nose clean for the most part. ANd when I say higher standard I am not talking going to class; I am talking about "W's" (WINS) not attendance...

Remember This...Opinions die and the Record Stands! 5 National Championships in 11 years.

And yes I watch College Football religiously always have and always will.

You don't see ND breaking down any doors to get Scheduled to play Miami now do you?

Let them play against each other in the next few seasons then we can talk.
Miami will be much stronger than last year and has the potential to go all the way this year...Do I think it will happen...No, I hope it will though. I analyze these guys every year. I see at least a loss this season, but dominating the ACC when all is said and done.

You guys are so touchy. Too bad this is the '06-'07 Season last time I checked I was born in 1977, I think I scrape by at 30 years of Canes Football. Besides, I am not worried about Math, but if I were at least I know I need a whole hand to count my National Championships!

1,2,3,4, and one for the Thumb 5!

I got 1 finger for you though SanGuru...

So back to the point of the thread...

I need 3 more tickets to the game. Just_Johnny got any connects...I can't buy any tix on Ebay because the Florida Law Prohibits charging more than face value of a ticket so Ebay is out.

I need a more trusted source at this point!

Conference wise Miami is in good shape with FSU losing to Clemson.

But this is the Greatest day to all Miami Fans on a global level..

They are announcing today that Larry Coker is Fired!! DIng Dong the Witch is Dead! Now we can concentrate on getting Butch Davis back.

Yes the Louisville game was crap, but the Canes came out very strong in the 1st quarter. We shall see what unfolds.

Notre Dame lost as well, so between them and FSU I am ok!

Now that I'm about $300.00 in the hole for breaking furniture and what not... Also apparently I revert back to my "drunken sailor" days with language that for the most part is very creative...

At least this time I didn't physically get sick, like the FSU game. My better half is speaking to me again and I look forward to the ACC Championship game rematch with FSU. The only thing that made it feel somewhat better was FSU losing and the Gators winning.

Acedeucy, I did see a t-shirt during the game that says it all...Got Five?
