A reason to drive your X real slowwww...

CJ has his random thoughts and questions, PNG has Freaky Friday, and while I am not lobbying for a regular feature here, allow me to 'blog' just this once. Any of you ladies might want to stop reading now, from this point on it'll get very Maxim.

Every evening on the way from Northern Virginia into DC for work, I drive across the picturesque Key Bridge from Rosslyn,VA into Georgetown, DC.

A couple days ago it was about 83 degrees out as I was heading across the bridge at about 6pm. There is a stoplight just on the DC side of the bridge where a T intersection is formed with M street. Traffic begins to stand still about halfway across the bridge during a weekday evening rush hour, and not an evening goes by where I am not ogling the ladies walking across the pedestrian sidewalks on either side of the bridge. The proximity of Georgetown and George Washington Universities makes for some fine viewing there.

This particular evening, there were 3 girls jogging side by side to my right, heading from VA into DC as I was. I spotted them in the passenger's side mirror behind me as I waited for the light to turn green to allow another 10-15 cars in front of me to turn onto M street. As they got even with me, traffic began to move. I had the shades on, so I could take a good look- 3 gorgeous coeds from Georgetown, wearing their Hoyas t-shirts, hot diggety damn!

I noticed the girl in the middle of the 3 was wearing maybe the shortest pair of running shorts I've ever seen, and they were exposing about half of the right cheek with each stride forward.

Traffic stopped again, and I was thankful for the X being much higher than the TT in front of me to afford me a nice view as the girls continued to jog away from me, towards M street. I snapped a photo tonight as I was piloting the rusty old Pathfinder to work. The girls were about the same spot as the guy standing to the right wearing the tan vest in this photo at this point in my recollection.

I looked ahead, and knew that as long as the guy ahead of me in the TT was in a little bit of a hurry, we should make that left turn onto M street with the next green light. I only hoped that the girls would be heading the same direction. A beer truck was in the far right lane now, blocking my view of the hot joggers.

2 minutes passed, the light turned green, the TT got a move on, and I followed him though a yellow light to turn left onto M street heading towards Canal Road and the workplace.

As we drove away from the bridge, I noticed the girls were now jogging along Canal Road, in the same direction I was heading! To make the discovery greater, the one in the super-small shorts was now on the outside, closest to the blacktop!

Another photo snapped tonight from inside the Super Bee-ter. The girls would be to the right just before the blue sign for Georgetown University in this photo.

With no one behind me, I proceeded to slow down to 15mph, to take in the sight of those shorts exposing a tanned coed butt cheek as she ran. I must have spent a good 30 seconds gazing at this magnificent sight before traffic began moving towards me from my 6. I passed the girls doing 20 mph and continued to check them out in the rearview mirror until I rounded a curve and lost sight of them.

At this point I did one of these and cursed myself for not snapping some pics with the camera phone, just as I did tonight to accompany this story.

I thought about making a U-Turn and cruising by again, but there is a high median which the 19's would not have liked too much, and at least a 3 minute wait at the next red light to make the U-ey, so the girls would have been gone by then for sure.

Believe me, next time, I will not forget to document these views!

That evening was for sure the first time that driving the X5 under 20mph made me smile ear to ear.

first time i drove my x5 in adam's morgan (DC), 5mph cuz of traffic, i was getting unusually a lot of smiles from the girls...
It made me feel sooo nice and half of the job was done on gettin their numbers. on the other hand, it just doesn't matter how i look like anymore, although i am above average cute guy.
the return on investment has alrady paid off BIG time. just look how i smile

Wow! How did you find this post? It's from May of last year!

Did you do a search on "tight shorts," or something?

Anyway, welcome to the board! Post some pics of your ride.
