Best way to complete traffic school.

I got busy (or lazy) and just finished up online traffic school from gotaticket.com. It was last min. thing leaving few days to spare.

I cut and pasted the webpage on Word and used the Ctrl-F (Find) to find the answers for the quiz after speed reading through the contents.

3 hours total. I probably could have not bothered to read at all, since they let me repeat the quiz, but I am not sure about the final test, it was mostly from the 5 quizzes I had.
Yes I was cheating.

I used the DVD rented from Blockbuster Video and combination of internet testing every hour or so four years ago. I reamember it took me at least 5 hours.

I am sure you have better solutions.
It cost only $20 and do not ask for ticket info. so anyone could try to see how it works if you are curious.

onlinetrafficschool.com

took me an hour and a half. 5 quizzes where you need to get 8 out of ten questions right. and 1 final where you need to get 40 out of 50 questions to complete traffic school.

$25 for the test. Unlimited retakes.

$15 to have them make sure that the court is notified that you have completed traffic school and that the point/s are removed from your driving record.

the chapter reviews were like 7-10 pages long per quiz. I just took note of the highlighted and specific info and took the quiz after 8 min of going through them. Passing was a breeze though I really needed to take notes.

I had 5 quizzes that required me to have all of them right. When I made a mistake or two they had me try it again only the questions I messed up. Thje final had 50 questions that I had to get 80% right I think. The final questions mostly come from previous quizzes. I was stupid enough to read every single line. I had a text editor, MS Word, side by side so that I won't mess up during the quiz.
I selected this from lasupriorcourt.com because it supposed to have 24/7 phone support. I did it very close to the deadline, I even am so sure about that 64 days from the trial?

Thanks for the info, Jaba. I hope you got your citation taken care of as well. Stay away from black and white next 16 months or so.

I need to go to traffic school - do they send the info to the courts right away after you complete the test? I have to get it to them by the Sept 1st (yes I've waited til the last minute). I was going to go to the 8hour class just so I could walk out of there with my certificate or whatever and take it to the court myself. But if I can print out the proof of completion or if they e-mail/fax directly, then I would prefer an on-line class.

Assuming you got the ticket in LA County.
http://www.lasuperiorcourt.org/
You could browse for more info. throught it was 60 days after the judge let you do the traffic school, but the website says 64 days. 4 days would be time any online/offline traffic school sends the certificate to the court.
I called the customer servicd to experdite, $40 more the rep told me it is not necessary since completion dated in marked on than certificate.
I'd play safe get it done ASAP. Good luck.

Np jonk. If ever I do get another visit from ebony and ivory, I might take my chances and fight the ticket. Just didn't want to do that now cause I wanted to play safe. Haven't heard from the court yet. Hopefully things go fine. I hope things work out as well for you.

For my situation, I completed the traffic school even before submitting my bail amount with the traffic school processing fee. (I knew i could take traffic school anyway, been longer than 18 months since my last ticket)

The site (onlinetrafficschool.com) should email or fax to the courthouse your certificate of completion of traffic school the following day. You can also request for a copy of the certificate but you have to pay for it.($5 I think)

Once I got a notification/document of completion of traffic school from the site, I printed a copy of it and included it when I mailed my bail amount and traffic school fee. I also wrote a letter to the clerk that I already had completed traffic school, included payment for bail and traffic school processing and also gave her a print out of the document that states that I have completed traffic school. Also I made copies of all the paperwork i submitted and sent the payment via certified mail with return signature so that if anything goes wrong, I have proof that I did everything to rectify matters and keep my record clean.

I expect nothing to go wrong from there since I think I've done everything right.

Thanks for the info. I took the on-line course last night. Took about 45 miniutes. I copied and pasted the materials to a word doc and when I got to the quizes, if I didn't know an answere I'd simply do a search and find in word to look it up. I also copied all the quizes to a word do, so when I took the final test, I had most of the answers (if I did't already know).

It cost $19.95 for the class and an additional $5.00 to have the certificate e-mailed. The site said they will fax it directly to the court within 24 hours. For an additional $15.00 they would send me a confirmation that my ticket was processed, but I figure I'll just call in a week or so.

All and all, quick and easy. Now I just have to watch my driving for the next 18months or so.
