Smile How is the 750Li?

Ok, so I was like screw the SUV stuff, because I already have a X and everytime I will drive the other car, I will wish we took the X. I looked at the 750Li and it is good. Scheduled a test drive for later. Now, I was wondering if I should haul the extra money and get the 760i? Is the extra money? I see the 60 has a lot more horsies, but is the money difference worth it? Anyone ever driven the new 7 series and how it feels like in general AND how it is compared to the X? If the 760i is much better than the 750Li, I will go for that...

If you have extra dough, go for 760, otherwise 750 is also very good.

I agree with Lemans .. if you have the extra money, go for the 760. Are you comparing a short wheelbase 760 to a long wheelbase 750?? If you're comparing a fully loaded 750Li to a loaded 760Li, you should look to pay about 25k more. If I'm not mistaken, the only options on the 760 are comfort access, rear entertainment package, and rear coolbox. The rear coolbox also comes with independent ventilation controls on the headliner for the rear passengers, and is not available on the 750Li. On top of the extra horses, you also get a full leather interior, and suede headliner So if you have the extra money, go for the 760, because even if you spend 92K on a loaded 750Li, it's still not the same

Like other said...

If you can afford it, go for the 760i/Li. Then again, the 750 is plenty fast and very luxurious too. The 760 will also depreciate a lot worse than a 750...

But nothing can replace surge of a V12... nothing...

If you're going into the 12-pot game, the S600 is a much better pick, as is Audi's A8L W12.

If you're staying within the 8-pot game, then it's really quite subjective, although the S550 wins in the engine department.

The 760 would be a blast handsdown.

However everything I read always talks about how much of a pain V12's are to maintain. Then the depreciation is another factor. But i guess if you get the free maint. and want that power, go for it!

I have driven both. The 750 is a real nice car, but the 760 is a blast. Like everyone else saids, if money is no object, go for the 760 because if you buy the 750, you will always wonder if you should have gotten the 760 instead.

I had an x5 3.0 a couple years back and recently bought an 03 745. A couple of weeks ago I had an 06 3.0 x5 loaner. Loved the x5 (and still do) but man there is sooooooooooo much difference. The fun factor and power are night and day. I've had a few different sport sedans, a corvette, etc...... and the 7 is hands down the best driving, best handling, and comfortable vehicle I've ever been in. The 760 would be even better I'm sure but the price tag on that thing.... OUCH.....

Get one.... you won't regret it....
