Canon SD700IS @ newegg $379

Newegg has the new Canon Powershot for $379 if anyone is interested. I picked one up yesterday. Great little camera, I've never had a P&S digital before (still using my trusty Canon 10D DSLR) but I"m pretty impressed with the results from this new Canon.

So maybe you're thinking, hmmm, why did Gresch buy a P&S if he already has a phat DSLR? well, i'll tell ya...

Because my buddies and I scored 6 tickets (@ face!) to the ND/Penn State game next weekend in South Bend and I didn't want to lug my DSLR gear with me on what will most probably turn into a 3 day tailgate party For some reason, these tickets are going for anywhere from $500 to $2000 on ebay, i can't figure out why)

Road trip with the guys, new electronics, 3 day tail gate, and ND football.... it's hard to beat

Ron, thanks for the tip. I, myself, love Canon digital cameras. I also have a Canon 10D, but agree with lugging all the lenses around, etc. I have a Canon S500 P&S, but looking for one that has image stabilization and heard about the Canon 700IS. Anyhow, when you get a chance, post some pic samples of your new Canon 700.
