A woman walks into a supermarket, and immediately grabs a shopping basket. After some brief shopping, she proceeds to the checkout counter.

She notices a gentlemen behind her in line as she places a loaf of bread, a box of tampons, some cold cuts, a six pack of soda, and some fruit on the belt.

"I bet you're single", the gentlemen behind her proclaims. Surprisingly, and with wonder, she says to him, "Um, yeah, as a matter of fact I am"....."how'd you figure that out?"

Without the pause, the guy looks at her and says "Because you're ugly as hell."
