2004 svt ford focus

I need to buy a new work car. My thought was the 2004 svt ford focus. Six speed manual with 170 hp. Has anyone driven or rode in this car. I think it would be a decent ride, but if anyone has insight on some pros and cons feel free too elucidate.

I have driven one. Nice all around FORD. I own a SVT Contour that has served me well. Personally, I would not buy a FORD product again. For your purpose I would spend the extra and go MINI Cooper S or VW GTI.

Don’t buy Ford, they may look nice but they field cheap inside, get a Camry or a Corolla
if you want a nice commuter car I always go with Japanese, I have a 1996 Maxima, that when is drive on the autobahn I never go less than 100 mph and never have any problem.

What are your constraints price wise? Price could knock out the GTI and Cooper easily.

You can easily pickup a used RSX Type S for that price. 200hp / 6spd. Or even better, go for a Prelude Type SH.
