I've never seen those on an X5. My buddy has them on his E46 and they look great.

First thing I would say is check that wheel is OK for an X5 because it doesnt say it is in that link. It only refers to the companys' products generally. (sorry if you have already picked up on that)

Again I dont if you know but just because it fits a BMW doesnt mean its safe for an X. I remember a case with an AC Schnitzer wheel for a 7 series it looked exactly the same as the ones ACS sold for the X5 but it wasnt it was underdesigned for the forces on the X5 so was not correct to use. Something to bear in mind. Same thing happens on OEM wheels some people use 7 series wheels for the X and the wheel isnt strong enough overal to deal with the extra forces etc.

Getting onto the look, someone on this site posted some pics recently with a similar style on their X, I am sorry but I can remember who but it was in the last couple of weeks on the X5 forum.

IMHO I really didnt like it but thats probably had a lot to do with seeing the hub and callipers and discs behind it all rusted and dirty etc so to me it didnt look right.

PeteM, the wheel does fit a X5. It was listed under X5 wheels when I did the search on Discount Tire. Dirt and rust behind the wheel won't be a problem. I clean my wheels at least twice a week ......Phil
