Update: Richard Hammond is AWAKE & ALIVE!!
He actually woke up after 30 hours and of course joking with his buddies in the hospital!!  I'm glad he is fine!! Can't wait to see the Hamster back on the road!!

it would be a shame to cancel the show due to Hamster's accident. If nothing else, it would be a dishonor to him: the guy nearly loses his life and they don't even want to show the video, let alone keep the show going? that would be to render his near-death experience totally futile.
besides ... if even HE wants to keep the show going, who has the right to say no?!
