Next gen Nissan G35/Z and Engine: Spy

Good read. Seems like it'll be solid competition for the 335.

The only "real" competition to the 335i comes in form of the Lexus IS350.

And what do I mean by "real"? I mean that Infinity is not yet a brand associated with the same things as BMW.

Infinity is like Acura - near luxury but not there yet.

Of course it's good for Nissan to build something that will steal sales from BMW, but I just want to clear up what's true competition to the 335i. Engine/suspension are just one element.

Agreed. You have a different definition of competition, a marketing standpoint. We are looking at the next gen of Nissan G/Z's from the point of view of performance.
