I just got home from the show. I thought it was about average based on the last 5 years. BMW had a fairly small showing of cars. They have an X3 and the new M6 ......nice car....very nice car. They also had the new K1200GT. Nice bike. I think the nicest car at the show was the camaro proto type.....which is suppose to go into production in 09. I was also impressed with the Maybach.....604HP. At the Mercedes Benz Display.
I had a pretty good time especially since most of the folks with kids left them home (didn't have to wait in line for a 7yr old to give up the steering wheel) I did see a few kids running across the front seats of a few 75,000.00+ cars. I don't mean to be cynical but it's just a matter of time before the shows stop leaving vehicles open for veiwers.
I'd also highly reccommend Bart...parking sucks. Have fun I did.

I might pass this year, I have gone for many many years and it seems a bit like SEMA, never much new stuff. Anyone else been to Automechanika? I enjoyed that show the last time I went.

I'll be going tomorrow or this weekend. Now that I think about it, I wonder which day will be slower.

I'm excited to see the new K1200GT, I've been looking to buy one. I'll also be looking for mid-size SUV's in the $35k range for my father-in-law. He just had another kid and needs more space.
