I wouldn't doubt Jeff G. (pro bowl QB who is far better then the previous Kitna/Detmer backup), personally I've never been a huge McNabb fan. Even though his numbers are good, he is VERY inconsistent. And lets not forget the Terrible Titans were beating the undefeated Colts till the final minutes of the game.

mcnabb was having an mvp season. 21 total tds and 2500 passing yards in 9 games!! guess how many yds/tds peyton manning has on his 10-0 team? 20 tds and 2500 passing yds. mcnabb also had 200 rushing yards. is peyton considered VERY inconsistent? garcia was good back in the day, but he cannot replace mcnabb. to put it another way, could he replace peyton manning? the titans were 2-7 coming in, i dont care what they almost did...2-7 is terrible.

Well it was actually 18 TD's, not 21 with a 98 passer rating, which is very good. You can't actually watch the Eagles for years and call McNabb consistent. He routinely decapitates worms with his passes and had to the Eagles offense actually played today, McNabb would of had some points on the board prior to leaving. It always helps if you receivers actually catch a pass that hits them in the chest.

I hate the Eagles, but I would never wish ill on McNabb... he seems like a classy guy who handled himself well during the T.O. debacle season....

Bottom line even if McNabb didn't get hurt today the Birds would have dropped this game. I never thought I would say this but inconsistent or not McNabb is not the problem....you cannot win games when you don't block, catch or tackle, its as simple as that. Andy "uhmm uhhmm" Reid has drafted players with top picks that have turned out to be bums. Why do they have the biggest offensive line in the league yet can't score a touchdown when they have 1st and goal from the 2 yard line? I bleed green and I am convinced that Philly will never see another champion from any of its 4 major sports teams in my life time (and I'm only 36). The Philly teams, emotionally, bring to the highest peaks and kick your ass off of the side of the mountain and leave you for dead at the bottom. The Phillies, Eagles, Sixers and Flyers all suck and have ripped my heart out over the years. Oh well, I'm glad the college basketball season has started!

if ryan howard would just bunt better the phillies would be in the playoffs.

ps 18 passing td's + 3 rushing td's = 21. thats why i said "total" td's. it was the most td's by any qb in the nfl. 5 out of his first 7 years he was a pro bowl qb. im sick of the eagles losing too but he's been the best player on the field this year for the eagles and by far the most consistent, a legit league mvp candidate before he was injured.

im done

SHUSH.. All of you!!! I'm in denial today

And McNabb is a very cool guy and class act. I knew him in Syracuse, lifted with him, talked with him, etc... needless to say, I'm a huge McNabb fan, back to the day he was wearing a blue and orange 5.

McNabb is easily one of the top 5 QB's in the league, likely 3 or 4 imo. A loss like that is devistating to any team. Garcia was good in SanFran then a Bum in Cleveland who had no o-line. So it will be interesting to see how he turns out. He might surprise us all.
