NEW YORK - Cell phone owners will be allowed to break software locks on their handsets in order to use them with competing carriers under new copyright rules announced Wednesday.

That's great news. So I have Verizon right now. Is Sprint the only other CDMA network? What's the upside for me? It's all about "me" right?

Great question for us Palm users. Somehow I believe our phones on Verizon and sprint are not interchangable. Anyone know??
