Be great full if you get it for $45,000 out the door.

I was looking at them a while back and prices were getting insane. Check eBay and you'll see what dealers are really selling them for. IMO, if you're getting near 60,000.00....get a new Corvette.

I'm sure its a nice ride.... but ..... its still a mustang..... still a ford......... and really a girl car with a big engine............. no thanks.........but thats just me.... I'm sure it would be a blast to drive ....... but generaly mustangs with a lot of power just can't be controlled very well..... and are extremely dangerous when the streets are wet.

Girl car...that's cute.....because BMW's (non-M) really ooze masculinity j/k

The argument that it will not handle amazing is accurate, but it is a beast.

(however....Corvette, loaded....$56K)

$56K? a new Z06 is $77k sticker... and they're going for $5k-$15k over sticker right now unless you catch a deal at Kerbeck.

A non-Z is in the low $40k's and a vert is in the hight $40k's.

I'ld take a Shelby pony car, but not instead of America's Legend

I'm with ya, that's MSRP, except for the Z's, they're going for less than MSRP out the door is all I'm saying.

Did you see the Shelby commercial with the guy unloading it from a container ship in Germany? great line:

dock guy: "couldn't find a car you like in Germany?"
shelby guy: "no, I couldn't find a speed limit i like in the states!"

Classic.

The 500 is most probably going to be Carol Shelby's swan song, could be a major collectors item, I bet that they're hoarded as garage queens which would be a shame.

Yeah I hope people don't do the "I'm not driving it" thing and end up with Shelby 500's in 5 years with 1000 miles on them.
