Brief Caribbean Report and a Really Big Yacht

Just returned from Anguilla. Nice water and beaches. Lots of upscale development (St. Regis and Viceroy) but the island really feels kind of dumpy if you are not on one of the resort properties, which, like Cusinart and Cap Juluca, are incredibly overpriced. It appears that except for a great place called Cote de Mer, the food appears to be supplied by the British Navy circa 1790. Anguillans are friendly, but the island is littered with derelict cars, appliances, half-finished houses, herds of goats by the side of the road, and a rampant stray dog problem. No duty free high end shops. Four days of great wind for kitesurfing, though, but I can get that for a third the price in the Dominican Republic. Our two day side trip to our favorite place, St. Barts, was just as beautiful and energetic as ever. The big boat is Rising Sun. Belongs to Larry Ellison, or Larry's bank.
