Good, Bad & Ugly View...pics

It's been raining since Tues night w/more showers, rain and TStorms forecast for the next several days. So, here's 3 shots of basically the same "view" out my library/'puter room window for comparo.

First pic, "Good", is a lucky shot I made about a week ago: Very early in am, just as sun had broken over mtn horizon to my far left, (toward NE). Long, manual exsposure on 'pod. Still dark down in town valley and on Mtn ridges directly across from us, due to oblique angle of sunrise:

Next pic, "Bad", is same view this past Thurs am, as rain had subsided for a few mins, but the clouds and fog, ("the smokes"), blanketed the mtns and valleys:

Last, "The Ugly"; same view out my lib. window this afternoon...it has looked like this most of the daylight time for past 3 days. I gotta tell ya' that this gets very fooking depressing, visually, after a few days of this. NEway, comparison pics...it is not always spectacular up here on the mtn & MaNature is a heartless ol'babe. Good weekend to all the Faves&Regs&Viewers.
BR,md

LOL!!

Not to belittle your anguish MD, but welcome to my world...The third picture is what I see out of my computer room window 320 days a year....Merry ol' England...Honestly, and this is no joke..when it is "sunny" here, that means there is a slight haze of blue/gray in the sky...Clear skies are essentially non-existent here...

Whenever I visit home, (now NC coast), I sometimes stare at the blue sky for hours and hours...my family thinks Im crazy, like Ive been in a cave all my life.....It really looks SOOO strange to me now...10 years of it to be exact...

And ditto, the second pic is breathtaking!!

Thanks for the pics MD! After 3 days of seeing that, how about taking a ride down the mountain for a little fun?! I agree, seeing that for 3 days straight would be depressing indeed. Is it any better today???

CF: Was supposed to be showery and/or TStorms today:
a large, bright yellow orb appeared in the sky this am and has been up there, slowing moving, all day! What do the weather guessers know? Went down the mtn and chased the ball, though four 3 putts and a crummy 87. But, it beats the rain and staring out into the gloaming. BR,md
