And if you absouletely, positively, need to reference music from the 90's, could you please do us all a favor and mention the bands that really had something to include in the history of music:

Pearl Jam
Stone Temple Pilots
Blind Melon
Smashing Pumpkins
Nirvana

etc.
But if you do have to go the dance route, at the very least you can quote some quality: BOOYASHAKA !
http://youtube.com/watch?v=jLzXrXqfiic
At the very least, something produced by William Orbit or Sasha.

And please Bo, I beg you not to bring up the late 90's ATB, 9pm till I cum.

If you've never been to a Pink Floyd concert, you might not understand how absouletely incredible it is to hear a singer belt this song live...
Puts a tear in my eye everytime.

Hey CJ,

Glad to hear you have an appreciaton for the greats.. Wish you Were Here and Comfortably Numb are generally considered Pink Floyd's two most "radio friendly" songs. As awesome as they are, there are some songs in the Pink Floyd portfolio that put those two to shame.
If your jumping on itunes, you might want to download these albums as listening to any one song is a mistake. Pink Floyd is really the only band I can think of where EVERY song on an album is as important as the one before and after it. I like to think of the entire album as one long song.

So go buy:
Pink Floyd ANIMALS
Pink Floyd THE WALL
Pink Floyd THE FINAL CUT

You won't believe some of the gems you have probably never heard of. And of course we can't forget DARK SIDE OF THE MOON. Arguably 4 of the best albums EVER made.

I just listen to those two most often because I listen to most of my music when I'm driving, and I don't have the attention span to listen to the longer stuff. I've got a bunch of their songs on my iPod.. Brain Damage, Learning To Fly (Which I think is my all time favorite), The Wall.. Shine On You Crazy Diamond, which is like 14 minutes long and completely.. mind-boggling.. I had more but all my files got deleted on my old iPod/old computer and I've never re-downloaded the rest.
