Sometimes, I have no idea what they're thinking.

BMW makes no sense to me. At least, with the color choices and options that they offer in certain markets and not others... For example, they offer LeMans Blue on the E90 models in Europe. Not in North America. They offer Barbera Red from the 7-series on the new 3-series Convertible, but not on the coupe. They offer the gorgeous Jade Gray interior on the 3-series coupe in Canada, but not the USA. Bizarre.. Shouldn't it be up to the customer to decide?

My thinking, as a marketer (and it's just my opinion) is that because BMW sells its cars in the U.S. at rock bottom prices compared to the rest of the world, they limit available choices in order to create efficiencies that help them be able to offer low prices in the U.S. I 'drool' whenever I go back to the States and see what BMW's are selling for (new or used).
