Hey, Nancy, the 757 does produce more CO!

So, hmmm, I understand that the Speaker of the House needs protection after 9/11...as he or she would be the 2nd in line for the presidency if we lose the Prez or VP.

It was reasonable that a Gulfstream V-like plane was offered for her to fly from SF to DC. Heck, it is probably nicer than most people's condos...

However, the plane would need to stop once for refueling across the U.S. And yes, there are 8 military bases that the plane can safefly land to refuel. I mean if the military bases are safe enough for military planes, I am sure it should be safe enough for the Speaker of the House.

But, no, she wants a plane that can go coast-to-coast without refueling...so instead she wants to use a 757 that will costs $300,000 to fly one way and will pump tons more CO in the air.....I thought she promised that she was going to combat global warming and now she wants to add to it?
