Many people including some dealerships will raise the wipers during wintry precip to avoid having the wipers freeze onto the windshield. Just a tip.......to someone who's never seen snow

I'm a bit further west than you, Michelle. We have a bit over 3" already! And it is sticking to the roads.........

Nothing here in NJ yet.... I had better call the parents in PA and see if they're ready for this.

Just snapped the pics. Snow started early this morning before I woke up, and it's been snowing pretty heavily all morning. 3.2" at the time of these pics.

The trees look really good with the white stuff!

So much for an "ice" storm.............wow the weathermen are seirously off this year.

Not 3" but 3.2" Did you go out and measure it? Looks like fun. I miss the seasons. I have to fly to Denver to see my brother now to see snow

Yea, I stuck my trusty metal ruler onto the patio, where I get my most reliable measurements. The snow is actually a LOT whiter/brighter than what the pictures show............so the trees look magnificent. Last year when wehad a big snow, I ended up sticking a yardstick in the snow and watching it accumulate. I think it was 20" at the end, pushed down by a bit of sleet.

I miss the dry, powdery snow of Canada and upstate NY though Literally, it would not melt during the day unless the sun shone on it. Thus, most city streets remain slushy all the time. They get regular 1-2" snowfalls every other day too, so whatever melts and gets plowed aside, comes back the next day.
