Question Just curious to know...

Is this a Mans(X5)World...or are there women that enjoy this site as well? I was thinking about this yesterday when I saw a couple of nice 3.0's driven by women. I would luv to see how women feel about the X
driving Xperience. Also, what would you guess the average age is of posters on the site...20ish, 30ish, 40ish? These are just random thoughts, no offense to any of you die hard X drivers. I guess I'll give you the first age to average...I'm a few months away from hanging in the 40ish group....................Phil

Where I live, most X's are driven by women. They are grocery getters and soccer mom cars. But a vast majority of them are the X5 3.0's, followed by X3's, with X5 4.4's and up driven by men.

I would say that sounds about right. It's about the same in this area. My thoughts are that most people view it as one of many SUV's on the market...(plus a heavy sticker price). However, we know better!!! I would say that this a good time to be in the minority, and not the majority. SAV Power all day Baby!!!....Phil

A white X is 99% of the time driven by a woman in this area. And I can speak for the North Shore of Long Island as well, and there it's 99.9%

Yes, there are women on this site. It does seem a bit like mansworld instead of x5world but hey, I like men (c; I do love keeping updated on this site and reading everyones post. However, I am not your typical "soccer mom" (don't have kids) and my X is a silver 4.6 (not white). I was probably raised a bit different than most women beings that my dad owned a car lot, raced every kind of car imaginable and was totally into Hot Rods. I was driving as soon as I could reach the gas - my first car.....67 RS/SS Camero w/ 383 stoker motor built for one of my dad's race car's. I was allowed to drive anything he had on the lot as long as I could get it out (I didn't pick the honda's). So, years later and a job that requires me to hall clients around I pick the X5 because its classy & plenty of room for people, I picked the 4.6 because its a beast! Oh, and my husband would have picked a 3.0 and would have never let me do any mod's (yeah, he was raised on a farm) he thinks the 4.6 looks pimped out.

He has only driven it once, I caught him smiling a little but he denies it. Say's he doesn't like it ...... we are looking for an F250 for him to replace his Land Rover (what a piece of crap - just had $6300 worth of work done to get it ready to sell.... its only worth about $5000).
