$77B lawsuit against the Corps of Engineers?

Ah, good call Ray Nagin. First you say "lets make New Orleans a Chocolate City" and now you are suing the Army Corps of Engineers (aka yourself in the long run) for $77 Billion.....what an ASS. Maybe you would have a leg to stand on if your city government wasn't more corrupt then Baghdad. Let's throw up some more video of your great officers LOOTING after the Hurricane...yeah wonderful city you've got.

Tells you a lot about that town that they re-elected that clown. Pompous @ss IMO.

NO should be the first city to receive the Darwin award.

How is suing the Army Corp. of Engineers going to help? The Corp. is probably immune from suit anyways and any payout would be just a taxpayer bailout by the federal govt. IMO, the only real solution is to change the local building codes and move people away from the most dangerous areas.

I have no desire to go to NO, especially with a f*cktard like Nagin in charge. They should sue whoever decided to build a city below sea level way back when. How about the decision so spend, what, $184,000,000 to rebuild a friggin' stadium so Reggie Bush could play some 'ball? Why didn't they use that money to address essential things like infrastructure and homes??? It is perhaps a drop in the bucket but last time I checked, $184,000,000 was still a whole helluva lotta moola.

Like Wagner stated, NO has always been one of the most corrupt cities in the country. Plus it has always been in the top 5 in crime including murders and drugs. What that the fault of a hurricane? Hardly. It's part of the culture in that city and unfortunately it starts from the top down and look who's on top.
