I think your moonrise is around 5:30 pm or so. Like MD said, just look to the East after dark.

UPDATE:

The eclipse begins at 4:30 PM EST and ends at 8:11 PM EST. The maximum eclipse will be at 6:21 PM EST. (Add or subtract the appropriate number of hours for your own time zone.) Of course, you can only see the eclipse at the times when the moon is visible in the sky. Moonrise in NYC will be at 5:43 PM. You can look up moonrise for your location at this link. At this time of the month, moonrise should be close to sunset (since the full moon, by definition, is the time of the month when the sun and moon are on opposite sides of Earth). The moon (like everything else) rises in the east, so if you’re in the Americas (where the eclipse is happening in the early evening), you can look for it in the low eastern sky.

For most of the US, we should be able to see some of it, at moonrise,
depending upon cloud cover, etc.
Europe & Africa are in the catbird seat, viewing-wise.

In the USA, the eclipse will already be underway when the moon rises on Saturday evening. Observing tip: Find a place with a clear view of the eastern horizon and station yourself there at sunset. As the sun goes down behind you, a red moon will rise before your eyes.

Good Gazing,
mD

Lunar eclipse was pretty cool, though from our winter digs,
on the flat azz golf'em course, we couldn't see the moon until
it had risen over the higher perspective horizon.

When we did see it, it was about 9/10ths + "covered" and
that cool reddish tint. No pics, as I don't have a tripod here
and even with image stabilization and pusing ISO eqiv's it
would not capture much, imo. That, and I was enjoying a
Bombay Sapphire and tonic, tall, after playing 18 and walking
an extra 9.

I hope some of you got to see it. I look forward to it again
on Aug. 28th, back on the Mtn.

It is now back to full tilt boogie, full moon...
