David Richards new owner of Aston Martin

Sometime back there was news that Louis Vuitton was the one to buy Aston Martin. Nope.

David Richards becoming the new owner is a HUGE deal for the company considering his racing history. For those of you who care, he's worth looking up on Wiki. He's the chairman of Prodrive and used to manage BAR. Wouldn't be surprised if Aston Martin shows up in F1 in the next couple seasons considering the owner and ties to Adeem. Aston Martin doesn't have the dough or expertise to get into F1, but Adeem has the finance and Prodrive has the know-how.

And yeah, Aston Martin cars might become something more than just GT.

Hell, it looks like Prodrive is officially in F1 as of 2008. Time will tell if Aston is in on it as well.

The DB9R built by prodrive last year did very well in the world challenge and touring car series good to see the works team now owns the company
