this show is getting lost in useless melodrama? Where's the usual intrigue? I mean, who needed Logan back just to see him get axed by his X?

I agree. I've been watching religiously for the past 3 seasons and this year I seem to fall asleep much earlier in the show than I did the last two seasons. Bill seems to be much more involved this year - I have a feeling something's up with him that we have yet to see. I like him. Also, I'm not warming up to those 2 newbies at CTU - I forget their names - the foreigner that works with Cloe and the young guy that looks like a college kid with stupid facial hair. I'm guessing that we'll find out the guy that works with Cloe is really a terrorist on the inside, and I just don't know what to make of the other guy yet.

Damn, I shouda skipped reading Mike's post...we DVR'd and haven't
seen Mon eve's show, yet. I don't disagree that their segues aren't as smooth as usual, but it's hard to have all action all the time, for this many seasons. My wonderment is how they are gonna pump another 2 or 3 seasons of serial shows out, since Jack supposedly signed on for 2-3 more years. I like all the cast and I love to see the punques and turncoats get their azzes kicked by Jack. I don't like that too many US citizens are crossing over to the terrorist side for whatever reason(s). I suspect that is the writers' fix/reaction to the Islamic community bitching about the profile the show was depicting. Every group on the planet has a PC Beef these days... however, HD DVR is a wonderful invention, imo. Last edited by motordavid; 03-14-2007 at 03:32 PM.

I've been watching for years...and it's getting way to predictable...we all know that Jack will get himself out of any situation...and most of us knew Psyco Martha would stab Logan (or herself) beacuse of the obvious foreshadowing with her cutting the food on the table....notice how the cam kept focusing on the knife?? The character who hasn't changed much (and is my favorite) is Chloe...the new people aren't too bad, though.
