Well guys, today is the first day on the job...ever. It's actually volunteer work at the hospital that should look quite good on my college app. I plan to go into pre-med and then into med...hopefully at Wake Forest University. Just a little incentive to keep the grades up.

I'm heading off to my 5 hour "orientation," should be interesting, no?

Thanks for all the wishes guys. It wasn't too bad, except for the fact the whole orientation ended up being a SIX hour long sequence of rather less than interesting topics. How to conduct yourself around the hospital, infection control, emergency protocol, etc. I'm looking forward to it actually, so I can get a real taste of the medical environment. PLUS, I got one of those cool ID badges on one of those cool retractable-cable clip on things. Pics to follow.
