BMW Formula1 team
BMW today confirmed that it will buy the Sauber team and become an independent team (rather than just supply the engine) like Ferrari, Renault and Toyota. Honda is rumored to do the same soon, buying the BAR team soon.

Good move for BMW. I never understood why they agreed to share the spotlight with Williams in the first place.
