My BMW Roadside Assistance Plan is about to expire. What is the thoughts here if its worth to renew or go with like a AAA?

I use AAA and have had it for years. In addition to roadside assistance, towing, jump starting, etc., you get discounts at some stores, restaurants, hotels, and other member benefits. It also covers any vehicle you are using, even if it's a rental or you are riding with a friend.

You could probably switch over and get just as satisfactory service.
