OK folks I need your help!
It's time to select a countertop color in the house of Chris F
I'll post some pictures below to give you guys an update of where I stand with the kitchen! The upper cabinets are up, the flooring is in, and the base cabinets are going to be done by moi this weekend. It is slowly coming together! I have picked Silestone as a countertop. This is a man-made quartz. It's very similar to granite. I am trying to decide whether I want a light or dark countertop! You can see the color of the flooring (ignore the pieces of flooring to the left of the cabinet, those are going to be hidden) and color of the countertops. I am thinking a nice dark countertop would give a nice contrast to the wood floor and maple cabinets. I think a lighter counter might blend in too much. Appliances are going to be stainless steel (at least thats my decision for now!) I have no idea what to use for a wall color just yet. The white looks very stark I know..... I am also attaching some pictures of what each color looks like in someones house so you can get an idea of what it looks like when installed (obviously ignore their cabinet color and stuff) Any thoughts are welcome!
