Malaysian Grand Prix - spoiler alert
Stop now if you haven't seen it yet and plan to. Otherwise, read ahead for results. I am not sure when it is being replayed elsewhere, I taped it at midnight Saturday (In HD, just because we can....)
Great race. McLaren is back. Alonso got the win he deserved, but the real story was Lewis Hamilton. This is definitely an up-and-comer to watch. Holding off the Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen for the last part of the race, to take second, was great. Almost as good as jumping two spots at the start, from 4th to 2nd to pass two Ferraris by the end of the first corner. All that, and he set the fastest lap of the race on his second Grand Prix ever. Massa made a silly error trying to pass Hamilton, but Kimi drove a good race. And Heidfeld got BMW a fourth place spot! Go McLaren! Sorry about Honda, Vig. Two seconds off the pace each lap.
