I want to go, but only if I know that some "Regs and Faves" (as MD likes to call us) will be there.

Is anyone committing to going? Planning on going? Thinking about going?

I am definitely going. Don't know yet if the future Mrs. is coming along, but there's a beach there, so she may indeed want to come along. She's not so into cars, but she drives the X more than I do and I should make her go. She could always make some extra $$ as eye candy doing the Price Is Right thing in front of displays.

Juan, I'm hoping you and some of the other regs and faves decide to come on up with DC as a halfway point so I can throw some of these big ass Porterhouses on the grill with some fine imported oat soda to wash it down.

Only thing I am scratching my head on is which type of ticket to buy. Can any donkey with a Bimmer drive in & set up a static display or is that kinda thing reserved for the super modded rides?

Well, that's my plan. I don't know if the CEO will come along, or not. She wants to come, but only because of the beach. She's not much into cars. I hope we can get a few people together and hook up with you in DC the night before.

Juan: I'm giving it a definite "maybe"...realizing that reads like BS, but my intent is To Go!

Not sure myCEO will want to either, as she likes cars, but has become a non-fan of long car rides.

JV's offer sounds good too, though if I do make the trek north, (even hooking up w/you, et al), my Son's or Daughter's homes in Cherry Hill,NJ would be a more logical "stop for the night" point for me.

The "registration info" is sorta jive-ish, imo: why would any stone stock car owner wanna premo registration for "display"?

That, and it reads like the 36,46,/M crowd from daFest...

If I can pull it off I don't care about that, as I'm going to meet/see all the X gang from here.

I should have a definite in the next weekish or so; lotta stuff here, even in retiredbumdom, with our closing on our new FlawRaDuh joint, etc. That's my guess for now, from here. BR,md

I'm bringing my 13-year-old son with me. GF just rolled her eyes when I mentioned it.

I think Rangerfan said he would be in Japan and couldn't make it.

Would be happy to hook up with anyone from ME, VT, NH, MA for the final approach into CT from RI, caravan style.
